My name is Jools, and I offer online tarot readings via video call. I’m also available for parties and events in and around Sheffield.

About
I have been reading tarot cards for almost two decades now. The cards have proved an invaluable source of guidance for me over the years, giving me insight and clarity when I needed it – and occasionally delivering messages that were uncomfortable to receive in the moment but which always led me to greater self-awareness. They have become a central part of my life, helping me learn to trust my intuition and bringing hope and steadiness in the midst of chaos and difficulty.
Working with tarot is a winding journey of discovery with the cards. The system continues to teach me every day, and I never cease to be amazed at the layers of meaning that speak to me and to my clients in deeply personal ways.
Willow Dreaming Tarot was born in mid-February 2022 during a momentous storm. The meaning of the name is twofold. I have always felt drawn to willow trees, and their spiritual association with dreams and intuition speaks to me on a deeply personal level since I work with dreams a lot in my personal practice. Secondly, as the winds of the aforementioned storm raged outside my window I dreamt about my beautiful cat Willow. I’d been mulling over different names for a while but this was the confirmation I needed!
What will a tarot reading do?
It won’t tell you how to live your life, or what decisions to make. Those choices are entirely up to your own free will, and your path is your own. You already know deep down within yourself what’s best for you, and this is why a tarot reading can help by connecting you with your own intuition and inner wisdom to give you insight and clarity.
In a reading, I will hold space for you to explore your question(s) in a non-judgemental way. I hope to be able to give you some perspective you may not otherwise have had, that can inform your own independent thinking and feeling processes and assist you in living authentically according to your values. A personal reading is bespoke, tailored to you and your situation.
A reading with me lasts between 45 minutes and one hour. Over the years as I have experimented with different timeframes and types of reading, I’ve found that this gives the space to go into a meaningful level of depth with whatever you’re looking to explore. Often, new avenues of enquiry will open up spontaneously, leading to new ways of looking and understanding life’s lessons of challenge and experience.
I work remotely by video call, and can also read by phone for clients in the UK. If you’d prefer a shorter reading by email, this can also be arranged, just mention it in the contact form.
Readings
45 mins to 1 hour – £55
This gives time to explore one or two issues and look at the surrounding energies and influences.
Below are a few suggestions for how a reading could be structured:
1: If there’s a specific question on your mind, we’ll start with that and then go into further detail about advice and next steps
2: Maybe there are a couple of questions you’d like to explore specifically and we can then go a little more deeply into one of them – or both if they’re interconnected, which they may be!
3: A general overview followed by a look at whichever theme or issue comes out most strongly.

I run in-person workshops every few months on Tarot & the Writing Path with the Writers Workshop in Sheffield, where we explore how to use the tarot for creative inspiration and building the elements of story. Check out their web site for upcoming events.
I also run in-person workshops at Yoga at the Reach every few months. In these workshops I give a beginner-level introduction to the cards, teach participants how to do a simple reading for themselves, and also give a 10-minute reading to everyone who attends.

Payment is required on booking. I do not give refunds for cancellations or no-shows. However, if you do need to reschedule an appointment, let me know and we can work something out.
